PFW HOLIDAY 2010 DAY THREE

Chica girl of the moment, Eloise in wide legged cargoes, I think the briefcase adds that surprising masculine twist. Check!

Ilonggo designers Bo Parcon and Don Protasio in cowls and layers.

Margiela VS Heels.

Ria Bolivar in model off duty uniform.

Of course had to grab some off stylebible.ph, since I didn't have enough time to go around and snapparize.

Not only is BJ a talented photographer, he's also one spiffy dresser.

Clean line and layered blacks on Cit-Cit Sioson.

If denim on denim was to be done right, it must look like this.

Loris Pena in a touch of literal military.

NO-NO

Can somebody tell me what's wrong with this picture? Aside of course from it being blurred. Haha.

Dress: Eairth FW2010

PFW HOLIDAY 2010 DAY TWO

Slouchy it is then. Liking the intentional disarray here. Young photographer BJ Pascual.

Floral seems to be the theme? Raymond Gutierriez giving denim some blossoming drama with a Carnation boutonnière.

And another slouchy piece with drapey sleeves. A warm brown leather skirt is a surprising color match with pale Lilac but as you can see, it looks amazing together. Cit-cit Sioson mashing up soft with structure.

Androgyny on Sarah Meier.

And still another toughened up pair of shoes for the guys. This time, H&M on Garage Editor Ray Ilagan.

And a couple lifted from stylebible.ph
Eloise again showing how sleek can be chic. And those Leopard spotted booties just off sets the pale denim on denim.

Jujiin channeling Mercury in high shine black.

Sorry but I just love all the way buttoned-up shirts on girls. Jenni Epp doing tailored with sportswear.

Twisted cravat and two toned carrot jeans. I like.

PHILIPPINE FASHION WEEK HOL 2010 DAY 1

Seriously. I havent bloged for a month? A MONTH? Dramatic lang. Haha. Sorry, I've just been swamped. But if you really want to know, you can actually see where all that time went. Grab a copy of Preview's June Anniversary Issue as it's the thickest one ever! Bang for your P140 bucks. 4 fashion editorials, the F/W 2010 Trend Report and Preview Men is there, our baby and the first ever! A lot of guys have been telling me that this is waaay long overdue. Tell me what you think yea? And. It's not Preview "HOME" (Homme) as some would like to say. We don't carry bed linens and scented candles. Hahahaha.

Anyways, for those who missed it, Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2010 just wrapped up. If you didn't get to go, not to worry because all collections can be viewed here>>> stylebible.ph. I have to say, even though I watched each and every single show for the whole 5 days, photographic memory is not one of my strongest points. So even if my notes were filled with legends symbolizing the greatness to the Omygoodness, reviewing them visually is a must. So with the photos there already, going over everything is soooooooooooo convenient.

Okay, with that said, *deep breath*, here we go.

Eloise is chica girl to the max. So effortless and yet pasok na pasok. With a return to clean lines and minimalism, the menswear button down and pleated front tailored trousers are double checks in my book.

Creative Director Patrick Ty in monochromes.

Accented with studded lace up shoes.

Interior designer Nix Alanon not feeling pressured with a relaxed striped tee and cuffed trousers. Of course the eye candy here is the arm candy. PS1 for the win.

Would you believe that the epaulette waistcoat worn by Imagine Magazine Editor Joyce Fernandez is circa 2000 by designer Kenneth Chua?

Still relevant now.

Mond Guterriez in bespoke. Jacket, shirt and jeans all from Vik, Viktor's younger diffusion line. Finished with...

Louboutin sneakers of course.

Liz Uy's Givenchy furry friends.

Madeleine Humphries in graphic body con.

Color and contrasts. Works.

AT THE GREY GOOSE PARTY

Where I almost choked on my oyster-vodka shots.

Rajo gathered everyone to enjoy a preview of his new Latina collection.

People wore:
Ivory lace on Stylebible Editor Isha Andaya.

Black lace by Rajo Laurel which looked ultra sexy on Preview's EIC Pauline Suaco-Juan with husband Raffy.

A great fitting monochromatic tailored suit on cutie Nix.

Bold lumberjack plaids reworked into a blazer on Jigs.

Ultrawide legged pantsuit by Rajo Laurel in bold Cyan on Pam.

Pose off!

Icelandic blue one-all by Rajo Laurel on Liz.

Erwan and Raymond looking dapper.

Preppy cool on DJ Mars.

Croon me a love song in that silk bow tie Mr. Chris Cayzer.

Another ivory lace number on Anne.

Borgy all blue light spill from the vodka bar.

Love that asymmetric cravat and textured trousers Rob! Kembot na!!

DENIM ON DENIM

Chris is an artist. Which explains why he has that effortlessly disheveled look/loosely rolled cuff shirt/paint splattered distressed jeans, down pat perfectly.

ROCKWELL URBAN BAZAAR

I know they do this a lot now, and on a Saturday where I had the RARE time to kill, I went and took a peek.

Wow.

Oh, this wasn't inside the bazaar yet, saw Kookie hanging out with her boyfriend at the mall. I adore those high waisted faded shorts. Killer platform booties for the win.

And a day shot! Yay! I rarely get these natural light moments, but when I do, the photos always look amazing. Valerie in black but in a roomy onesie, compensating the heat absorb color with an anti-fit silhouette. Amazing how footwear always defines the outfit, With a laced up sandal, this is graceful grecian meets festival chic.

Here's Valerie again with boyfriend Rob. Hot couple channeling beatnik musicians.

Oh, and Valerie sells clothes. Heres a striped cropped jacket that's too cute.

And a washed denim dress that is so me. shop online at streetbeatboutique.

I've always liked Lissa's style. youthful quirkiness as evidenced in that multi-dog tag necklace. And seriously, she's like this even to school which is hamazing.
