It all started with a very bad Mexican dinner. But then that will have to wait till another post. Writing a long discourse about that. At least, that dinner was saved by good conversation amongst friends AND the grace that is alcohol.

RED SEE

You'll be seeing a lot of red, I guarantee. I wore a red blazer from Cebuano designer Protacio in the Behind The Bylines Reunion Special, and I again to the Fashion Watch show. This time though, the tailored overcoat with exaggerated lapels is from designer Julius Tarog.

Man, I lost those Topshop sunnies that I'm wearing in that photo. Still looking for a replacement. Had to take this photo with us three reinterpreting red with touches of stripes. Coat + tent dress on me. Ultra-deep v tank + tiered layer skirt on Jae and slouchy blazer + striped body con on Anna. Pretty much reflects each of our styles.

And then there are the blogggers: Kryz in her red shorts and Camille in her high waisted tube skirt. Coot.

THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION

Pao got in his choice of University. Pao, all your worries were for naught. Didn't I tell you that you would? Now his only problem is choosing between NYU or Columbia. Kainis. Laki ng problema no? Even going as far as doing the pros and cons: "Columbia churns out journalists, while NYU produces authors.." More in his blog post "Where I got in and what I’d gotten myself into" , just in case you're facing the same dilemma. So to honor the occasion, we took our kids out to dinner. Pao brought his anak Raymond, and I brought mine, Anna.

Of course it was good food. I picked Mangetsu because they have the best Shrimp Gratin--and all of them haven't eaten there yet. It was recommended by Mother P, mentioned it to the boyf that we should go, and he surprised me by taking me out to dinner there on our very next date. So ever since, its been a place of good memories and super yumburger food.

We started with the Uni Omelette and Japanese Fried Chicken with three kinds of salt. Both 5 stars. (May ganon?)

Grilled meat will always be grilled meat. So okay lang. Haha.

This one though takes the cake. You know I soooooper as in sooooooper love Cheese!! So I died when I tasted this. Its a shrimp and mushroom risotto under all that layer of butter melted goodness. We ordered one but ended ordering another kse matakaw kme. Hahaha. (Riiiiice. I miss it, I've been on a no rice diet for a week now. Sigh)

And then for dessert, order the Ice cream tempura. I swear and sarap nya, hot/cold, creamy/crunchy at the same time. The boyf and I actually craved this last night and drove all the way from our dinner at The Collective to order a bowl. Happiness.

I have a splitting headache. I wish I could be more profound than that but pain makes me lose words. Urggggh.

P.S. I've been trying for the past few nights to get a built-in mini player uploaded to my posts, but I'm resigned to the fact that blogger blocks all music uploads. Sad. I've got a brand spanking new music playlist that's sure to get you heaving in MY pseudo dance floor. SATUR-DAY

Was a really loooooong day. As en. I'm not kidding. Promise. Last count, 30 photos. So, baka lang kse ma bore kayo, I cut it into two parts. The AM which is this one = 4 photos. (Ay. Di naman pala masyadong mahaba. Heeeh) And the latter part which is below.

Day started at BHS with the GAP collabo. Gave styling tips to VIP clients and met women from different career fields. Pretty interesting. Even got one to say CHHEECK!! Because the outfit that I recommended looked really good. Haha. Anyway, not much of a Bonifacio High Street Girl as I'm more keen to stay in GB but the major difference between both is the massive attack of pedigree. And when I say massive, as in WOLF levels.

I died when I saw this Alaskan Malamute who was about my hip level. I want one. Pang accessory lang sa Fashion Week diba? (Sige, ayaw nyo ako ilagay sa front row?) And believe it or not, this adorable giants name is Fluffy. *Aw....*

Anna was there to tag team with me for the styling. Payat lang diba? Those ultra skinny Cheap Monday jeans look extra long and slimming. Gah. On mine it'll probably look like stuffed sausages. Hate.
