CONGRATULATIONS DANICA!
Woke up to the good news!
I'm sure what Joey meant was 2011 Grand Prize Winner. But all the same.. We soooper love Danica!!! She's in our Top Ten collection fashion editorial for January 2011, and she's such an angel to work with. The competition was held earlier in New York. Heres her set card from Cal Carries. (Photo from sarahmeier.tumblr.com). Will post a few more of her from Preview, but I have to scoot to work. Yes, I do have work on a Sunday. *Groan* Laters.

CLASSIC MEETS ELECTRO?

Scenester lang. Haha, But wait! I'm getting way ahead of the story. Let me rewind to how i got into the LMFAO show in the first place.
It was the launch of the Ralph Lauren Big Pony Collection at the Art of Scent in Resorts World. Martin of L'Oreal emailed me a week ago to say that there was an after party nga featuring LMFAO. And silly me, I thought that it was their second time here. (Now why'd I think of that?) so I wasn't too keen in seeing them. (choosy?) But really, I'm such a nerd because I still RSVPd. Heeh. Apparently, tables were sold out last December pa. Say what?
Anyhoo, yes, the Big Pony collection. 4 scents that came neatly color coordinated.
And here are the packages. Chowst.

Blue is a refreshing sporty tonic, (Rob Wilson)
Red is a sexy intriguing blend, (Daniel Matsunaga)
Green is an adventurous adrenaline rush, (Rich Herrera)
and Orange is a cutting edge styling mix. (Mike Concepcion)
And no, Im not talking about the power rangers but I do think though that it was a great choice in the casting.
Heres Mike when he's not brand Ambassador-ing. Love those garterized cuffs on the khakis. Its from Topman.

And after street stalking, it was time to heave on the dance floor! Thanks Martin for the tickets! I actually had one extra. Oh Wellz. I tried taking photos like diiiz... But then can it get any blurrer?
So I took videos instead. Wanted to post it here but my internet connections all flaky, hence the upload timing out every time I'm 48 percent in. Multiply that by the 6 times I've tried restarting the upload and it stopping halfway-- I'm just about to go out of my mind. So till those get to a 100 percent. Photos will have to do.

DID YOU KNOW?
That I'm shit scared of flying? But for Mond and Mads, I had to ride this,

for her debut as FHMs January cover girl?
Have to say that THAT was an experience. The lahar flatbeds are eerily beautiful. Though I really don't want to be stranded there come nightfall. (Imagine a complete living town underneath it. Goosebumps.) And Mads was fuss free and game for everything. Quickest cover shoot ever! Wrapped up in 3 hours. Now i want to take a chopper to all of my shoots. If only I can pay 60k for every trip. Gah.

CHEERIO
What did I do today?
11am. Checked out my friends newly turned over condo unit at the fort. I really can't live in a high rise. I feel like all those floors above me would squeeze me to death, and don't even start on the earthquakes.
100pm. Had a feast at Eat Well for lunch, you guys need to seriously try their Hot & Sour soup. I usually end up adding vinegar or soy to others, but theirs is just perfect!! Try the fried eggplant with stuffed shrimp and the eggplant in hot pot. Oh, and did i mention the eggplant? Heeh.
300pm. Office for the weekly update meeting with the Preview team. So far, so good. Saw two fashyown girls wearing maxis in different reinterpretations. Will post soon, after it comes out in my column in Supreme.
700pm. Product shoot for my pages. @.@
1100pm. Home sweet home.
I need a long vacation. Again. With me and AC just goofing off. Like that photo up there. Hmp. Still no events. Which means no new photos. Maybe tomorrow would yield new visual crops. Ladida. Goodnight.

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT FAQs
Thank you guys for sending in your CVs, what an interesting end to the day!
For the FAQs,
Here's a list:
1. Do I need a background in fashion to apply?
No. As long as you're hard working, with a good eye for style and can write. You're in the running to becoming Philippines next top Preview EA.
2. Is there an age limit?
We are unbiased. If you fit the qualification, then you will be shortlisted and interviewed.
3. Do I need styling experience?
It's a plus but we can work around it. Our fabulous EA Anna Canlas came to us straight out of college.
4. When's the deadline for the the filling of the position?
We know a million girls would die for this job, so were giving everyone a chance to polish their resumes and blow us away. But remember, the sooner you send it, the faster you get on top of the shortlisted file. So send away!!!
Any more questions can be posted in this thread so everyone else can read and comment. Thanks!
