MICHELLINE SYJUCO

Here's one unexpected surprise at the stylebible sale. To die for one-off accessories by Michelle Syjuco. Tough, hammered pieces that harken back to jousts, battles, knights and romance with its Medieval feel.

I wouldn't mind getting these tokens from my champion.

Rowr.

I'm armed for the style wars wearing this.

Err, why does everyone say this ring is so me? Definitely not for mums with kids though.

This one would be preferable. It's like having an encrusted treasure chest on your fingers.

Okay, this cuff looks small in proportion to the hand that its rested on, but the specs of this cuff is around 4"-5" in length. Whoah.

Cut stones set as statement rings.

Heres a couple that's a bit more symmetric.

Michelline Syjuco.

Preview EIC Pauline Syjuco busted out the checkbook and bought a couple on the spot, she got the heart shaped necklace 9 photos up.

ALEXANDER MCQUEEN 1969-2010

02/11/10__Creativeness has lost one of its greatest innovators. Sad day for the fashion world. I mourn.

Though I have to say, this was a fabulous swan song. Can anyone else top this?

STYLEBIBLE SAMPLE SALE

I told myself i wasn't going to spend. Like, yeah right. Discounts, much more designer ones are like catnip to women. We just can't resist! Prices were such a steal! (Lame attempt to justify) but with that roll call of designer one-offs, (good mix of labels btw stylebible, congrats!) it took a strong will and a half to walk away and say no. i guess that just wasn't me. Haha.

Least theres eye candy for all of you. Happy with the turnout, though I wish there were more undiscovered style mongers. Where could they be?

Yes, Alexander Wangs. Diego Suede Bucket bag. My heart just dropped to the floor.

Signature studs on the bottom.

Hard edge hardware on gladiators.

Of course all on styleccentic Liz Uy. Loving those printed pants! Which I have to say is a very big S/S trend. Hello Balenciaga? Mond looking all street dapper with a rolled up blazer paired with easy sneaks.

Here's Kate Torralba's new assistant Dave Manaloto, straight from Canada. If the waxed denim skinnies don't get you, I'm sure the seriously cool updo will.

Or it could be the studded waistcoat also. =)

Hindy bringing in the summer breeze with graphic prints and bold color.

Vida in an asymmetric volume top contrasted with tailored shorts. So chic for day!

Op Art print on KT.

You know how some guys wear their drop crotch trousers all wrong? Well, take notes because this is how to do it right. Effortless! Jigs rocking his dhotis with a fitted tee, thongs and a Mojito!

Those tassels are just lovely!

And a close up. Top by Rajo Laurel.

Designer love. Eric Delos Santos and Czarina Villa.

Thats an Eric slashed dress and a Czarina 'Palabok' scarf.

Mich Dulce's clean lines. Loved most of her stuff on sale.

And here she is, a week before heading off to London, still working hard.

I'm biased with grey. It's the second none color that i wear to death. This tube dress can actually work as evening wear, but for day, its made casual by a denim waistcoat and a tan cinch belt. And instead of going predictable tan shoes to go matchy with the belt, she went for a monochromatic finish. Nice.

Puey in summer layers.

Would you believe I actually followed her to take her photo? Utilitarian is big, as in mayjer HUGE this season. So far, in all my photos this year, she's the only one I saw rocking the trend. And obviously its not some style accident, as this olive parka dress looks so contemporary, with a skinny cinch waist and slouchy pockets, that its not hard to believe it was snapped off the Spring Runways. And isn't that yellow knapsack a bold and unpredictable bag choice? Haylaveet.

Flora printed blazer for the win!

TO THE FUTURE

I have to admit that one of my favorite Spring Summer 2010 collections is Gucci. Blame it on the Sci-Fi geek in me, but those techno looking architectural gridirons on the fabric surface with metal hardware just turned me on. Its sexy sportswear meets cyber goddess.
Runway photos from style.com.

And if there's one thing that separates luxury labels from the high street knock offs (aside from the price) is the complexity and finish of most of the pieces. Gucci’s signature horsebit, reinterpreted as a mechanical cord belt, cinches the chest or waist, while elements of extreme sports—latches, cinch pulleys, technical clasps, and vertical panels of looped cords, are reworked into luxurious embellishments.

This bag is LOVE!

And it's available here!!! Drool. Gucci techno Horsebit Large Shoulder Bag with Flap.

So is this one.

In Maritime (Navy Blue).

And so are the shoes.

Ankle strapped babies.

Gail Platform Sandals in Nero.

And of course we like our bags discreet.

Bamboo Large Top Handle Bag in Cement. Very Gucci but without the logos.

This one is nice too. Bamboo Neoprene GG Large Top Handle Bag in Nero.

And for those who need to rest their heel weary feet, Sigrid Flat Thongs is like having silver streaks in your feet.

GUCCI available at Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center, Makati City and Rustan’s Tower Shangri-La Plaza Mall.

5CM

I've been telling friends that lately I've been featuring more guy's fashion, and this post is another confirmation of that. Eep. Sorry. I guess maybe it's just a seasonal thing. But it's soo coot. 5cm came to present their Spring Summer line, and I can so imagine it looking good on stylish men.

This piece comes with a pseudo scarf, I'm thinking it can't be a bow. Though it could work as cravat. Brit fashion lang.

Here it is again in black.

Men's pieces try to compensate the ubiquitous silhouettes with attention to detail, this one comes with a turn up contrast piping on the collar.

Which sort of reminds me of a tuxedo.

It's consistent with the cuffs too.

Here's what you can do if you're tired of last, last, LAST years uniform of Plaid shirts, you can dye it Ombre.

5cm available in SM Megamall.

TOPSHOP SS10

I think I've died and gone to pedestrian heaven.
My heart literally stopped when I saw this.
SO. ME!

I do hope they bring it in though. Manila styles are so limited, and safe! I'm in dire need of summer booties. I wouldn't mind this one.

Gareth Pugh is datchu. Or it could be Givenchy as well.

Covet!

Rawr.
