IMPALA

Went to a car show last night, (what was I thinking?) and i saw this this. My friend told me its the first one here in Manila, a souped up classic Chevrolet Impala with hydraulics and artwork done by Graff artist Abel. Niiiice.

RENAISSANCE MAN

I pride myself in being oblivious to a model's good looks, but at Jujiin's shoot yesterday, Rafael just screams to be stared at. His face is so pretty. What do you think? Plus he's nice, very easy to work with, and his eyes, (they're a rare mix of hazel and green) are so deep you can swim in them. See, he even made me spout poetry.

STATUS THIRD ISSUE

Went to Embassy last night (after a month of hibernation) with the usual band of bandits. It was Status Magazine's third issue party. Met up with EIC Paolo Lorenzana, and when we're together, it always ends in a night of drunken recklessness and debauchery. Somehow by the end of the evening we found ourselves hanging out in the ramp just outside Fiamma with Mano, Mong, Mars and Ivan. Grey One Social, Sandwich and Superklasse. Good times! Got home at 5am. Till now I'm still half drunk.

SLEEVELESS DENIM WAISTCOAT

HAREM NIGHTS

LE CHIC

Though the cinch belt is as ubiquitous as the skinny jeans, at least it can be worn and rocked a gazillion other ways. I like the multi color wide strap and the gold clasp. Gucci-esque but not really. The scarf gives just the right quirky touch.

HIGH WAIST JODPHURS

Boo to boring corporate office wear.
Yay to stylish women who care about how they look!

RICAS CAFE

With no outdoor signage, this unassuming cafe is nestled at the back of a Japanese Restaurant, squeezed in a corner between a spa and a blank wall. My friend and I were craving for sweets after a gastronomic Italian dinner at Guiseppe's. Patterned after the oh-so chic quaint hole-in-the-walls of New Yorks coffee culture, this cafe had that very posh-y feel to it. We ordered twin desserts of mango crepe with nutella and ice cream. (Their specialty) It was yum.
